MemoVivid V1.2.0 Released: Hint, Peek and New Theme Packs
MemoVivid V1.2.0 is now available on Google Play and through the official Vivimentis website.
This update introduces new gameplay tools, a World Cup-inspired card pack, upgraded Classic Theme visuals, smoother animations, and several performance and stability improvements.
What's New in V1.2.0
Hint
The new Hint item helps players continue when they are unsure which cards to choose.
Hint reveals a useful matching pair opportunity, providing some assistance without removing the memory challenge from the game.
Each use costs 50 coins, and Hint can be used up to three times during a game.
Peek
Peek briefly reveals every card on the board before turning them face down again.
It gives players a short opportunity to memorize the full board and plan their next moves.
Peek costs 150 coins and can be used once per game.
World Cup Theme Pack
V1.2.0 introduces a new World Cup-inspired card pack featuring football-related objects such as:
- Footballs
- Stadiums
- Goals
- Whistles
- Scoreboards
- Boots
- Medals
- Trophies
The new pack brings a more energetic match-day atmosphere to MemoVivid while keeping every card clear and easy to recognize during gameplay.
Upgraded Classic Theme
The original Classic Theme has also received a complete visual upgrade.
The previous card graphics have been replaced with a new collection of polished, game-ready assets designed around the MemoVivid Playful Glow visual style.
The upgraded cards feature:
- Clearer silhouettes
- Stronger visual contrast
- Soft 3D materials
- Improved readability on smaller boards
- More consistent lighting and presentation
The Classic Theme is now integrated into the same unified theme-pack system used by the World Cup Theme Pack, making it easier to introduce additional themes in future updates.
Smoother Animations and Effects
Several gameplay animations and visual effects have been improved in this release.
Card flipping, matching feedback, item activation, glow effects, and transitions now feel smoother and more consistent.
These changes do not alter the core rules of the game, but they make each interaction feel more responsive and polished.
An Interesting Development Challenge
One of the more interesting issues discovered during development involved the interaction between Peek and Hint.
Peek temporarily reveals all cards, while Hint can independently reveal cards to assist the player.
During testing, both systems activated at nearly the same moment and attempted to control the card state workflow simultaneously. This caused an unexpected sequence of card-flipping animations.
The issue was reproduced, traced to competing card-state transitions, and fixed before release.
It was a useful reminder that even simple-looking gameplay features can create unexpected edge cases when several systems interact.
Performance and Stability
V1.2.0 also includes general performance and stability improvements.
These changes help ensure that the new item and theme systems work consistently across supported Android devices.
