Direct answer: QR Creator adjusts a style when the requested design does not pass read-back verification but a safer version does. It blocks export when neither the requested style nor the supported fallback sequence can be verified.

Three verification states

  • Verified: the current applied style passes read-back verification and can be exported.
  • Adjusted: QR Creator applied a more conservative supported style to improve readability. The preview shows the applied result.
  • Blocked: the supported fallback sequence still could not be verified, so the current result cannot be exported.

How to improve the design

  1. Increase contrast between the foreground and background.
  2. Remove a complex background image or transparent background.
  3. Reduce the logo size or use a clearer logo plate.
  4. Return to simpler point, finder or solid-color choices.
  5. Shorten the encoded content where that is practical, then generate again.

Do not use a screenshot to bypass an export block. A screenshot does not make an unverified code reliable.
